Summer Mood Board Inspiration

Is the summer heat making you feel creatively stuck? I find that when I need a creative boost, making themed mood boards can be very motivating. If you’re looking for some inspiration for your brand or visual design project this summer, I’ve designed a mood board with a curated color palette that I hope will help you break out of your creative rut.

The Mood Board

This season, I wanted to create a mood board that evokes both warmth and serenity. I chose imagery that reflects that sun-soaked feeling alongside the things that cool us down.

The Color Palette

This color palette was created using a muted complementary, citrus color scheme. One that represents the warmth of the sun and the coolness of the sea. I wanted to capture those warm days when it seems like you can see all the colors of summer reflected on the water.
